OCR Online is the result of intensive research with one question in mind: How to capture data from paper in an automated process?
Twenty years ago EasyData was already considered the leader in its field. Initially, we started our OCR journey in 1999 with TextBridge, which was soon replaced by ABBYY FineReader, the best OCR Engine that time.
From the very beginning EasyData actively cooperates with ABBYY, acting as a distributor of their software products, as well as providing technical support to users.

OCR development
More recently, many manufacturers have invested large amounts of time and money into reaching the best results in converting text to a usable digital format with the best OCR accuracy.
Consequntly, it brought many optical recognition technologies to the market. There is even an open source OCR Engine with pretty acceptable results.
Given the above, we have wondered many times: how to achieve a balanced price / quality ratio for our projects? Finally, after many years of development and realizing customer projects, EasyData has found the perfect solution. And now we present an alternative OCR technology with OCR Online!

For two decades the EasyData OCR knowledge has been used for various OCR solutions. E.g., from newspapers that require 99 percent accuracy to invoice reading, where 100 percent OCR accuracy is required.
